Many things have been said about this movie. Some say that it is the movie of their life, for others that is a not so good movie. For me it's a OK way to kill 80 minutes.
The story is about some guys crossing Manhattan to save the beloved one of the main character, and to do that they have to face a monster and his little friends, but fortunately they had a camera to document their saga.
The movie have a bunch of 5 minutes burst of action followed by many minutes of just filling the movie and tries to show how a person wold behave in a situation like that. The story is a little bit linear with some forced elements that could be more smartly done. The monster seems stronger than superman and a research of the USA weaponry could led them (the writers) to that bunker killer missile that can penetrate 12 or 15 meters of concrete, that is about the radius of the monster's thorax.
Apart that the movie does it's job
It entertains.
